Barretstown: Thank you so much for your fantastic contribution.
Barretstown were privileged on Sunday 12th January to have had the opportunity to host the girls for Loreto Hockey Club, their families and friends. We would like to thank each and every one who joined us on the day for both the fantastic work you did on behalf of our campers and most particularly for the very good humoured and fun approach that all involved took to the day. Apart from the very real benefits that the camp gained it was a real pleasure for us to meet all of the Loreto team, and Loreto Beaufort students.
Our CEO, Dee Ahearn, stated how important it is for Barretstown to receive support of this nature. We really appreciate the thorough, well organised and highly committed contribution of all on the day. We will watch with interest the progress of Loreto Hockey Club and wish you every success in your ventures for the future.
Many thanks and a happy, healthy and successful 2015 to you all.

Rathmines Women’s Refuge
Hi Bronwyn, Loreto Players & Friends,On behalf of all the women and children in Rathmines Women’s Refuge we would like to say a very big Thank you to everyone who took part in the big Makeover project that was done in the Refuge Centre recently. All the women love how bright the Kitchen / Dining Room now is, they can’t believe the transformation in the room over the space of a few hours. The two refurbished Playroom are just amazing, the children love them. The painting work done was first class and the children are still talking about the lovely transfers that you put on the Playroom presses. The new Jigsaw flooring installed is just wonderful, so soft, bright and clean, it really finishes off the room so nicely. The garden & outdoor play areas now look just amazing. Thanks for all the power-washing, painting, grass cutting, trimming of hedges / shrubbery. We honestly can’t believe the difference in the garden & outdoor play areas – the children love it now so much, we find it hard to get them back indoors. The amount of work that the Loreto Volunteers did on the day was just phenomenal. We as Staff would never have been able to do what was done on the day.I also want to express my sincere thanks for the way all the Loreto Volunteers took on their various tasks in a impeccably respectful manner that was wholly sympathetic to the service and towards the women and children who were staying in the Refuge. This point was particularly noted and appreciated by both Staff and Residents.Once again a VERY BIG THANK YOU to all who so kindly gave of their time and talent.Kindest regardsLorraine Donohoe
