Club Dinner a great success

On the 6th of May, Loreto members past and present donned their glad rags to celebrate Loreto’s 90th season. A prosecco reception with a chance to catch up with teammates and friends started off the night at The Talbot Hotel in Stillorgan.

The club was particularly delighted to welcome back past members and players, who showed us all how it’s done! The night was a wonderful success and celebration of all things Loreto. There was a chance to reminisce at our memorabilia table, browse through club photos and of course pose for some more snaps throughout the night. Club President Paula Cunniffe welcomed guests and touched on some of our club’s wonderful achievements spanning an amazing ninety years.

This was followed by our club captains Sarah and Caroline’s speech with few people escaping unscathed! Saz and Caz continued by presenting the prestigious club awards, made all the more special with the candelabra procession kindly provided by the team of the year, the 3rds! Unfortunately, not all the antics that happened at this 90th celebration are fit for publication but keeping with tradition there were several bar dives, a fashion show, a party bus and even some school-girls having their meal in a high-chair…standard procedures really!

Below is a list of all our award winners. Congratulations Ladies!
