Hi All,
Just a short note to wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas. We have so much to be thankful for and to celebrate this year at Loreto Hockey Club.
Our fantastic new Clubhouse, our new sponsor Owen Chubb of Victorian Garden Buildings, representative honours achieved by many of our members, our thriving Junior Section, our fantastic Coaches and Managers, winning the Junior Club of the Year at the IHA awards…however perhaps one of our greatest and kindest things we have done to date at Loreto Hockey Club under the initiative of our very own Bronwyn O’Donnell was the renovation of a family’s house last weekend who were in dire need of help and who hadn’t the means to live in acceptable conditions.
Last Sunday was an example of the generosity of our Club members, associates, families and friends who gave up their time and money in order to make one very happy family. There were circa 100 people involved. Well done to Bronnie and her team and everyone who contributed and/or gave up their precious time in order to complete the project. It makes me so so proud to be part of such a special Club that is Loreto.
I am looking forward to kicking off the New Year and seeing you all at the Married v Singles on the 4th January, details of which are below!
Finally, a huge thank you to all the Club members, Coaches, Managers, all the Committee Members, and Volunteers for your continued support of Loreto Hockey Club.
