Loreto Hockey Junior Club – Membership Renewal

I would appreciate it if you could complete the attached Loreto Junior Club Application Form and return it to Grainne Cregan (12 The Cloisters, Terenure Dublin 6W) or e-mail it back to Grainne, at loretohockeyjuniors@gmail.com. Please make sure to give us all up to date contact details.

We are asking everybody who has not yet returned the new application form to confirm their daughters place to do so before the first coaching session.

2015/16 hockey season

We are now close to the start of the 2015/16 hockey season and the Coaches are all looking forward to meeting you and your daughters at their first coaching session next September.

We have been working on lots of exciting plans for our Junior Club Members over the summer. We are also looking at the possibility of doing some more Hockey Trips away based on the success of last year’s 6^th Class Hockey trip to Athlone and Mullingar.

Starting dates

If your daughter has any allergies or medical conditions (that you have not already advised us of this year) please let us know in advance of the first coaching session.

Again this year, we are very keen to involve parents in our Junior Club, so I would be delighted to hear from any parent from 6th Class upwards who would like to come on board as a Manager in Sept for the season. No past hockey experience necessary.

Club Uniform

Junior Infants – 6^th Class – Wine Club Polo shirt (€15) & Wine Club Socks (€10)

1^st – 4^th years – Wine/White Club Shirt (€35) Wine Club Skirt (€30) Wine Club Socks (€10)

Optional Club Grey Club Hoodies are also available at €25

All Club uniform can be purchased from Ed Sports (based in Pembroke Wanderers and Three Rock Rovers Tel 01 6677300 /087 2271714). You can also buy on line at www.edsports.ie

We have arranged for Ed Sports to be at our Clubhouse on Sunday 20^th Sept from 9am-1pm to sell a wide range of Club Uniform / Hockey sticks/ Shinguards etc

For all coaching sessions your daughter needs to bring a moulded gumshield (absolutely compulsory), shin guards, a hockey stick & suitable clothing.

Club Subscriptions

Again this year the annual subscription is €140 (€130 for each additional sister in the Junior Club). All subscriptions to be paid on or before the first day of coaching. Personal Accident insurance is included in this annual subscription.

1. Our preferred method is by bank transfer. Please contact loretohockeyjuniors@gmail.com if you need bank details.
2. If you plan to pay the Subscription on the first day of coaching please put your subscription into an envelope with your daughter’s name and class clearly marked on it.
3. Alternatively payment can be made in advance, by post, to Grainne Cregan 12 The Cloisters, Terenure, Dublin 6W (cheques to be made out to Loreto Hockey Club).

Communications

Again this year we will be using the ‘Text a Parent’ system for communication purposes.

So please let us know if you have changed your mobile number.
