Fillies → First Year A Leinster League Final Match Report
A nail biting performance by our first year A team in the Leinster league final. Down 2 goals at half time the team came back fighting after the break. Gaining most of the possession Abbie put away a super corner deflection from a strong reverse strike by Olivia. This was followed quickly with a close range goal by Olivia 2-2.
Super defensive work by Jordan, Emilia and Kirsty put a stop to any Avoca chances.
The midfield Jenny, Katie, Lily, Hannah and Lana ran their socks off putting in crucial tackles with Jodie attacking strong. Super Sally made quality saves in 1v1s and we scored three to secure the win!!
