Loreto Leader – March 2012
Hi all,
Although the season may be coming to an end for some of you, as the last few league matches are played, it certainly doesn’t mean the Loreto action is finishing up! Apart from our upcoming social events including the club dinner at the end of April we will all have a chance to catch up on the sidelines supporting the 1sts, 2nds, 5ths and 7ths who all have important fixtures as detailed below! I am delighted to share that we are on track with regards to the progress of your exciting new clubhouse-it is certainly an exciting time for Loreto. Speaking of excitement I am thrilled that we have strong Loreto representation on the Women’s International team and I would like to personally congratulate the team on reaching the final of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgium. Equally I would like to congratulate Nikki Symmons on her fantastic achievement of becoming the most capped Irish player of all time.

Not to be missed this Saturday!
This is a BIG, BIG weekend of hockey for Loreto HC. So come out in numbers & in your Club colours and let the players know you are there to support them.

The schedule is:
Saturday 14th April:
1sts play Railway Union in the IHL in Beaufort at 2.00pm
Loreto are top of the IHL league table in their section with 12 points, while Railway are second with 11 points. So it is all to play for.
We will have tea & eats after the match on the school sports hall. All are welcome.
Sunday 15th April:
Leinster Cup Finals
11.00am in Grange Road, Sevenths play Avoca.
4.00pm in Grange Road, Fifths play UCD.
Sunday Irish Junior Cup Semi-final
1.00pm in Beaufort, Seconds play Cork C of I .
